The origins of ATB date back to October 20, 1984 in La Paz, when Canal 9 de Paceña de Televisión began its broadcasts. In the late 80s, they changed their name to ATB, a name that has remained to this day, making it one of the most-watched channels in Bolivia. The ATB network is known for broadcasting children's segments such as Jacky Show in 1993 and Sipiripi from 1995, with the latter setting an audience record among children. It also received recognition for Best Children's Program in 1999 and has aired a variety of entertainment series from around the world since the 80s, including live-action series and national productions. Additionally, they have showcased Tokusatsu genres (including Super Sentai Liveman, Metal Hero Jiban, and Power Rangers) and Anime during the 90s.
